The Challenge
Join our Digital Advertising, Learning & Publishing business unit (D-ALP BU), a USD 350M+ entity serving enterprises, SMEs, education, and government customers globally. As a Senior Computer Scientist at Adobe, you'll go beyond the typical responsibilities of designing, developing, and testing code. You'll own features of varying complexity, requiring a deep understanding of system interactions, proficiency in moderately sophisticated algorithms, and excellent design judgment.
We're actively seeking strong and passionate engineers to join our team as we scale the business by developing next-gen products and adding new value to our existing offerings.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in software development.
- Excellent computer science fundamentals with a strong understanding of design and algorithm performance.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Ability to write code that is reliable, maintainable, secure, and performant.
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure services.
What You'll Do
- This is an individual contributor position with expectations in the following areas:
- Responsible for the design and architecture of new features and services.
- Oversee all phases of engineering, from early specs to deployment.
- Collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to build the technical vision and roadmap for the team.
- Develop technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate ideas effectively.
- Stay proficient in emerging industry technologies and trends, influencing product direction through effective communication within the team.
