spooling is nothing but simulantaneous peripheral operation online.

for eg.one process require the printer while it prints for another

the process placed in spool disk and at the same time cpu carries

another work,it is called spooling

Spooling is the allocation of all interaction with a given device to a single process; other processes that want access to the device must go through the spool process.
