Xml insertion

Hi,

i am using two tables in sql 1 main and 1 sub table in subtable i am using xml insertion..... while insert time if xml is empty then also i want to enter data in sub table as empty xml so that during view time i dont get problem .... how can i do that....

i have two tables 1 order and second order details i m using single insert query but second table data is being inserted using xml insertion but if i donnot enter ant data for Order details table insertion during insert time only for order table i enter data then the order details which is using xml insertion should also be entered as null value

Hi,

This point is not clear to me..."xml so that during view time i dont get problem " can you explain it more detail.
