i am using visual studio (universal apps)in that i created one canvas (like drawing area) and whatever i draw in that that must be stored into an image format(.JPG or .JPEG)

so my question is how to do this ?

Instead of capturing the paths that are drawn, why don't you capture the graphics object and save that as a bitmap? This might help you, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2928845/saving-system-drawing-graphics-to-a-png-or-bmp
