Working with frames

Is your form an MDI container? If not, you can use a Panel control where the forms are loaded and set the Panel's Dock property to fill, and set Autoscroll to true. This is assuming, of course, that your form is NOT a MDI Parent. I hope this might help?!

hi mike I am using splitter control but there is a problem. I have frameset and in one of the panes I have the tree structure and in the other, forms would be loaded depending upon the nodes I click, this is the requirement as I told you earlier. Here the problem which arises is that if I scroll the frame top to bottom or left to right, where the forms are loaded, the frame or the pane with the tree view also gets scrolled which should not be the case. Please Help Tellie

Hi Mike Thank you so much for the reply. Yes Mike you are on the right track I mean you put me into one..... I have three panes , the top one would be for header information and then two more panes on one pane there would a tree structure and on the other there would be forms loaded depending upon the nodes clicked on the tree structure..... What I got is that I can use splitter controls, but then just correct me if I am wrong, I can communicate between control easily in .net forms, right? Tellie

Do you mean panes? Try out the splitter controls. You can use these controls to add the frame effect into your form. if you have forms within the form, you also need to make an mdi project. Hope I was on the mark, Mike
