Hi Criflou, I guess I have the answer what u r looking for. Well, I work with vb.net, but that doesn't matter. Concept will still be the same. First of all I don't like MDI. I go for a better approach. You can use a "MODULE". This is d*mn easy. Add a "module" in ur project (you know how to add an item... don't you?). Name it as, say... Global.vb (for VB.Net). It is nothing but a code editor. It doen't have an interface. Now open it and declare all of your existing forms in it (In the module section). For example: Public F1 As New Form1() Public F2 As New Form2() Public F3 As New Form3() *** Note: They should be public as you want to work with the contents or data from each form. Now add a main() into it and load the first form you want to show at the begining of ur application, in it. Sub main() F1.ShowDialog() End Sub So far so good. Now you can call any function in a form class in any other form class provided u declared that function as "Public". You can use any forms contron from a different form, provided you changed the "Modifier" property of that control to "Public". For example: to call a "Calculate()" function, written in F1 from F2. just use F1.Calculate(). Same for the controls, F1.TextBox1.Text="Blah Blah" Well I don't any easier method for what u want to do. If u have something else... just let me know. Thank you... BAAN

Too many ways to do it... Remember, Forms are just objects and you can use standard data transfer methods between objects. For example, have public properties on forms... Or if you have MVC-architecture, change data in model and update the view...
