Sibeesh I think you know also whatever antivirus we choose, it won’t provide complete protection. If you download and run harmful programs, you’re going to end up in trouble at some point.

 

So external antivirus ensuring you stay safe and keep your system secure is more helpful. Sibeesh as we know those guys having expertise on this & running their business on this basis only. Day bye day we are getting new viruses/malware & those guys day to day working for the same.

 

So selecting an antivirus that has better protection scores against obscure malware (like Kaspersky) you may never encounter may help make you a bit safer. Windows Defender will automatically disable itself when you install a third-party antivirus, and then re-enable itself again if you ever uninstall that third-party antivirus. It’s designed to get out of the way. .

Hey Sibi ,

 

Defender is just a Anti Spyware program . I don't think it can replace an Anti Virus . Personally , I am not fond of Defender because from my experience it  never worked even as an Anti-Spyware in the first place . I had to install other Internet Security Suites .
