When I try to open Microsoft Visual c#, it says application cannot start. So the only way that I can use it, is to open the program by opening it by clicking on a previous project file I have made.
After that I tried reformatting my computer and everything, re-installed c# worked perfectly the first few times, but after I created my first program, I tried opening it normally again same problem "Application cannot start"
Anybody else have this problem or is just me? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
Also I'm not sure what category to post this, so sorry if its the wrong one.

If you search the MSDN for "Application cannot start" (with quotes) you will get many results, some of which are probably useful for you. You did not say whether your VS is 2005 or 2008 or what. You probably need to uninstall and re-install more than just VS.
Do you know if there is any beta version of Microsoft that has been installed in your system? Also, are you sure there are no viruses?
When you execute VS, do you see the splash screen? Does it show for a normal length of time or does it show just briefly?
Has VS ever worked in your system? If so, then what did you do when the problem began to occur?
Has anyone else installed anything else in the system that you might not know about?
