So, I have this problem, and its pretty hard, but I want someone who could give me tips and advices on what to do.
Its a GUI , and it has wrong name, and gives errors our when you click certain button. My job is to rename the variables to proper names and find those errors.

Follow all of the naming conventions from above linked.
Replace characters like this in variable names: #, $, % etc. etc.
