which version of framework shall I install

Hi

I want to include .net framework 3.5 in my prequisets , I don't know which package shall I include

any suggestion please

I mean the full 233 mb framework , the distribution one , or what any download link will be highly appretiated I asume the use doesn't have any internet connection and I don't know its operating system if x86 or not

It will really help to know what the other system is; what version of Windows or if it is some other OS. Then you could put .Net or whatevedr you nedd for it on a CD-ROM.

If it is windows based application and not referring any web dll then you can use .net framework client profile.

he Client Profile is a subset of assemblies already contained within .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1. The Client Profile subset is focused on fulfilling the needs of Client applications.

The Client Profile contains the following features:

· Smaller framework deployment - ~28 MB client deployment package

· Smaller, faster client deployment boot strapper

· Client Application focused feature set:

o Common Language Runtime (CLR)

o ClickOnce

o Windows Forms

o Windows Presentation Foundation

o Windows Communication Foundation

· Visual Studio 2008 SP1 Integration – Applications can be targeted specifically for the Client Framework subset.

It depends on what you've already got installed. Here's some examples of my results using an XP SP2 machine.

I assume you want to deploy the project on users machine, then you need to include the framework that the project build on. Or, something else we talking about?
