Developers prefer to be able to test just the code they have created or modified before testing it with the entire system that is likely the result of many people, sometimes over many years. Right now you ask what is unit test, this are test developed by developer which help to verify there coding. After development if some new changes are made then it will help developer to verify that there old functionality are not rendered and in V.S you can add unit test by ..................... ..................... ..................... ..................... ..................... right click on any class coding you will see Create Unit Tests and then you can select the classes or function on which you want to add test functions.
