Visual Studio can't start debugging!

Is it possible for you to post the error screenshot ?
How many projects are there in your solution?
Which is your startup project , consoleApp /windows App / web App or Class library ?

Did you try a repair installation on Visual Studio? If you are missing files I would start there. Just go to add/remove programs, find Visual Studio in the list and then click the change or remove option to launch the installer. From there follow the interface to start the repair installation; once finished, restart visual studio and give it another shot.
