visual C# 2008 express edition

I recently downloaded the trial version of visual C# 2008 express edition and was trying to look at the source code for paint.NET and it said that it didn't support the file type (.vcproj) . does anyone kno if this is because it is the express edition and if this problem would be fixed if i had the professional or standard edition?

android.. the problem is not with the express editions or professional editions.. it is with the compatibility.. the vs2008 uses compatibility mode to open files that are developed using previous versions of visual studio.. some times some files may not be compatible.. so better try vs 2005 for that file..

You dont try to use Team suite Edition?

Team suite edition is much more feature of all release in C#.net
