Using multiple forms in one application

I have never used more than one form in a windows form application. I have need to now.

On my main form I have two buttons, when a user clicks button 1 I would like form 2 to appear, when button 2 is clicked I would like from 3 to appear. I breifly looked online for some answers but did not see them. If you know of a tutorial to accomplish this please post a link.

The basic code to do something like that is as follows:

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Form2 f2 = new Form2();
f2.Show();
}

private void button2_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Form3 f3 = new Form3();
f3.Show();
}

However, you'd need to add futher code if you don't want further instances of these forms to be created and shown each subsequent time the buttons are clicked.

Thanks. I was able to locate similar code while continuing to investigate. I will consider how to not show further instances upon subsequent "clicks".
