Truncate access database table

DELETE FROM MyTable

Friendly suggestion, When ever you are committed to delete something plz plz make sure you have taken necessary backupfiles, otherwise you will be in trouble trust me :)

Furthermore, please be adviced that even if you delete all records from a large table, MS-Access does not automatically release the free space to the OS.

So you will see that the Access file is still the same size before delete operation.

To reduce size you will need to take 'Compact database' menu option. Please do take a several safe copies of the file before compacting.
