To be a good Software Developer

I am doing job after BCA as a website developer but i also want to develop software... what can i do to be a good software developer as soon as possible.

In website development, there is a good career scope too. There are so many openings in companies for UI developer. Whatever you are doing is the part of of "UI Development".

A UI developer is the cream resource of company and sometimes paid more than core developer. You can be a UI developer if you enhance your skills in following area-
- Good Knowledge of - Scripting languages - like jQuery, Java Script and so on
- Proficient Knowledge of - core Programming language along with some database interactions - like C#, Php and so on with basics of MS SQL, Mango DB, Azure and so on
Still, if you want to switch your career in core development, then you need to have a good knowledge of development languages like C#, Php, Java and so on. Your database level understanding should be more than the basic level.

Actually, i m not using .net platform. I developed website only wordpress, opencart, html and also css. thats why i have occured problem

If you develop websites, its not difficult to develop softwares. If you are using dot net as a platform , there is not much difference in windows and web development. A few basic things you need to learn and rest of the things can be achieved through your web dev knowledge.
