Testing security of a C# .Net application

Hello,

Please advise if this is the incorrect forum.

I have a small app that when executed adds some functionality to a commercial mapping product that is used within a client user account. The app was written in C# .Net 2.

Are there any simple tests I could check to ensure the app is secure and does not open any holes?
