as i need tiff to convert text tesseract OCR simple applications neede.

I know this is an old thread, but I am posting here for general benefit.
I found the following threads that show how you can use Tesseract OCR engine in C# and ASP.NET:

In addition, I used OCR engines from different companies like LEADTOOLS that showed good performance, accuracy and speed under .NET. You can find a sample project here:

To use Tesseract with .NET, you will need a .NET wrapper for it. There's a good discussion of this here:

There are also good OCR engines for .NET that don't need wrappers, such as Lead Tools Advantage.

use ‘Microsoft Office Document Imaging’ (MODI) component for OCR convertion.

you have to install MODI. It's available in the link http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=22333
