starting asp.net?

hi

i am new to the asp.net i installed the iis and the visual studio ,
when i tried to make my first project it tolds me an error message that
no asp.net 1.1 is running ,what is the reason for that ,what requirements do i need

From a command prompt, you have to execute the following line to restart IIS:

aspnet_regiis.exe -i

Hope it helps.
