SqlTransaction and error ExecuteNonQuery

hello guys, I make script with select, insert, and update, and I used sqltransaction but when thescript after running select and start to run i = this.cmdInsert.ExecuteNonQuery, it's error with a word ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed.

can you help me? thanks.

SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection(constr);
SqlCommand objcommand = new SqlCommand(query, con);
if (con.State == ConnectionState.Closed)
{
con.Open();
}
objcommand.ExecuteNonQuery();
con.Close();

simply Use SqlDataAdapter which is not require any open connection it manage connection internally

when I added con.open still error with "There is already an open DataReader associated with this Command which must be closed first."

The error is itself specifying the problem you need to open the sqlconnection
eg con.open();
