SQL SERVER 2012 shows Error while installation

Hai All,

I am facing an issue in SQL server 2012 installation process.

when click on setup file, getting an error and installation stops. see the screenshot below:-

I need help from someone.

Am using Windows SERVER 2013 Machine to install SQL SEVER 2012

Running SQLServer Exe with an admin is a prerequisite.

Dear All,

The issue was solved by a small step.

installed with administrator privilage and I can now able to continue with installation.

Hello, Did you check the summary and detailed.log file and also the eventvwr for more details and error msg?

Can you reboot the machine and give it another try?

Do you have the correct dot net version installed?

Now getting a different error. see the screenshot below:-

Now other errors I have is been solved. This is the only issue I getting now.

There was a proper working database engine in the Windows server 2012 machine. Since the sqlserverAgent shows an error, I modified the SQL server 2012 in that machine and uninstalled the SQL server 2012 after found that the sql server agent issue still there.

Hi Bineesh,

It is hard to find anything from this error screen. Please review the summary.txt, detailed.txt and try to find more details on this error?

Did you try after restarting the server?
