sql 2005 error,datatype error

Please validate the input date range before inserting into sql.

DEBIT,CREDIT,NARRATION,VOUCHERNUMBER AND ALSO DATE ARE PARAMETERS PASSING THROUGH SQL2005.ITS DISPLAYED ON GRID WHEN I GIVE THESE UNDER WHERECONDITION STRWHERCONDITION IN DATABASE.BUT I REPLCED WHERECONDITION AS DRPDATE DATETIME.I DDINT GET ANY ON GRID.I GOT ERROR AS SQLDATETIME OVERFLOW.CAN U GIVE CODE INCLUDING ABOVE THESE...C#3 TIER PROJECT

What you put the datetime out of this range

"January 1, 1753, through December 31, 9999."
