Hi,

i am having table with is having string data

ex

1.action:Enable invert mode, date:2018-03-29 20:39:09 -0500

2.action:Go to screen guide, redirectLink:/dallas/guide/navigator

3.action:Get POIs, widget:cityGuide, category:libraries, searchQuery:, date:2018-03-29 20:39:16 -0500

I want output like

Action date redirectLink

:Enable invert mode 2018-03-29 20:39:09 -0500 null

Go to screen guide null /dallas/guide/navigator

Get POIs 2018-03-29 20:39:16 -0500

Hello Anusha chowdary,

Your requirement is a bit tricky one.
You can achieve your requirement in the following way. I am just writing the algorithm to the solution.

Dump the actual data into a new table with row numbers.

Loop through rows

Split the row values with Comma delimiter

Loop comma delimited values

Split value with Semicolon

Now check the first value and insert a new variable

likewise, check all values of a row and assign to a variable.

now insert All variables values into the result table.

The data is not spredout in a way that you can come up with an easy answer

you have to provide more samples and the answer.
plus do you want the answer in T-SQL or .Net?

Create a class
public class splitedList
{

public string Date{get;set;}
public string Link{get;set;}
}
List splitedList=new List();
Foreact(var item in Listofyourrecords)
{
splitedList.Add(new splitedList
{

Action=ite.Split(new string[]{"action"},StringSplitOptions.None)[0];
Date=ite.Split(new string[]{"date"},StringSplitOptions.None)[0];
Link=ite.Split(new string[]{"redirectLink"},StringSplitOptions.None)[0];
});
}
