Does anyone know for a fact that there's no way to have multiple projects point to the same file (not a copy) in C#? I'll do the DLL thing if I know I have to...

Thanks for the idea! One problem though: someone might come along and use that dll without my application, and I don't want that to happen. If there is such a thing as a static library in C# (ie one that gets built into any executable that uses it), then your idea might work for me. However I'd still prefer to be able to share source files, because I like to try to develop reusable classes with everything I do, and of course you never know when a class is done being debugged / improved, so it's best if you can modify the code without having to go through an extra step of building a library. Is there really no way to do this in C#? Seems like such an obvious and simple feature. :(

Can you turn the code into a nice little reuseable dll, then you don't even have to look at the source code next time you want to use it, just drop the dll in and call the methods.
