Shall I re-enter into Software Field?

Hi, I have worked 3 years and 10 months in the software field(in 3 companies) in .NET technology. Due to family reasons, I have come out from the software field. Now, I am working Software Teaching faculty in .NET technology. Will Company showing me Interest to hire me? Thanks a lot for your advice.

Changing Resume is fine if you have foolproof-background-check - MNCs will definitely check that.

Singapore will be a good idea as you can compensate on the money-side. Plus you can grow from there too, my friends says there is good IT market in Singapore.

Add 2 certification for power & covering the ratios. :)

(remember world asks for a high-ratio guy for a low-skilled job, if you have low-ratio go for high-skilled jobs)

hi, thanks for your reply. Moreover, I have some questions: (1) Shall I enter to MNC Software companies as an entry level programmer for better productivity and quality. (2) Shall I apply for singapore software companies as an entry level programmer in .NET technology? (3) As you mentioned, Shall I change my resume 2-3 ratio because all ready applied to many companies with 3:3 ratio. (4) changing resume will it cause any negative feedback? Now, I am very confident that I have good practical Knowledge in .NET. Thanks a lot for your valuable advice.

Companies might take an advantage of the situation depending on how-long you were inactive from software field.

You can work on Refreshing Programming with latest trends, Practice Interview Questions & Start applying for companies. I expect 30% to 50% salary-reduction based on your situation, but if you work hard in 6 months to 1 year you can move-high & break-even all losses.

3 Year 3 Company makes the Job:Persisntence ratio to 3:3 which is 1.. the standard ratio is 3. Advice to keep your company-change ratio around 2-3, else Freelance Consultant option is good.
