Get the job and forget about the salary first. Reason is you don't have enough experience yet to expect salary range. Your goal as fresher is to get the job and gain experiences.
Personal Story: I started as junior programmer working on Windows and Web apps with C#. The company offered me a very low salary but I didn't mind that because I know that I'm a fresher and worst I don't have any experience on C# (I'm coming from a VB6). I struggled alot during those times because I don't have any experience in the framework and worst not really familiar about the web and how stuff works in the stateless world. What I did is to do self-study and start leaning the basics ~ i have no choice because I really need the job. So I stayed in the company for a year and gain more experience and took the opportunities to learn things. Once I'm confident enough for the skill sets that I acquired then that's the time that I started looking for a better company that offers a bit higher salary BUT I didn't leave my job right away because I wanted to make sure that I get hired first in the other company before leaving. I needed to secure my job as I am the breadwinner in the family and looking for another company without a job is not an option to me.
The moral here is that as a fresher you need to forget about salary first and instead focus on your learning. Just code, code and code to gain more experience. Once you have enough experience then that's the time for you to look for a company that pays better. In fact if you are really good at what you are doing then most company will look for you instead.

Hi Mori,

At the beginning I think proper landing is more important than salary. Because, what if a company pays you more but put you on bench for a year like many large service based companies do in India.

On other side, a company may pay you less but gives you a lot of exposure and learning opportunities which will re-define your future in IT field.

Anyways, to answer your Q specifically I think standard is 100K - 150K INR per year of experience a candidate have. so this should be decent starting salary.

If you are a fresher on MVC technology then salary what you except is :- 12k to 15k for any start-up company; actually as a fresher you can not demand the salary. According to company norms and policy and which company you are going to be joined based on that your salary varies so it's difficult to tell actual figure.

Hi,

Based on company standard they will give you good salary.I think In Indian MNC Starting Salary for freshers 18 to 25k.

First you will learn the basics of programming before attending the interview.Don't think about salary first you will gain some knowledge after salary will come automatically.
