REQUESTDIGEST in Sharepoint online SPA

Hello guys,

I've created a Sharepoint Online SPA using AngularJS and Breeze (with HotTowel.Angular module),and in order to perform a POST operation i need to set the 'X-RequestDigest' header with the request but unfortunately i can't use $('#__REQUESTDIGEST').val(); because it's not available to a provider hosted app.

Do you have any idea please?

yes it gives us the access to the token if we are working with the native way but in my case i'm using a costumised app using HotTowel.Angular module so i don't have the hidden field in my html pages so i have to use the rest service to retrieve it.

SharePoint oob maintains the access token in hidden field - __REQUESTDIGEST
We can utilize the same instead of creating another hidden field.

Thanx Nanddeep Nachan and Jayakumar Balasubramaniam but i already fixed the problem by using a rest call using: _api/contextinfo and retrieve the FormDigestValue

Hi, What i understand is, in your provided hosted app you have integrated angular JS and trying to post something to SP Rest API sp you need X-RequestDigest. If that is the case, you will get then access token right, you can save it some hidden field and read it in angular Js then pass it in your API request.

Request digest token is included in hidden field.
