Reports are dipslaying different database data

Hi Dear, 

 

if its is window application, as you said you changed connection string at configuration file.

 

when its report you may be using datasets file check there is a old connection string, that is problem reports are connecting previous database.

 

solution is 

1)go to your user interface solution then there will be properties under that  Settings.settings file is there double click on that file it will ask you to change connectionstring as in configuration file so click on yes it will change automatically then you can rebuild application then run it will work.

 

2)go to dataset file designer code there you can directly set connection as you pasted in configuration but its complicated be carefull and then you can rebuild application then run it will work.
