report from 2 tables in crystal report

I have found a good way to create Crystal reports is to create a database view with all the selection logic contained within it, then have the Crystal Report select all from the view. If arguments are required, and depending where you want the selection processing to occur (database server or client machine) you can use a proc or have Crystal report filter the results of the view for display.

mostly it depends upon your selection criteria. If the data from both the tables is to be displayed on the same report, then 'join' would be perfect it all depends upon your sql query
