Replace starting and ending characters of a string

For the string you have specified, it seems you want to remove \" from start and end. You can try below code in C#:

alpha.Replace("\"","").

However, when i tried to do Console.WriteLine(alpha) in C# it is already removing \"" from string and output of it is:

You can do this in quite different ways one of the method i am sharing it with you

var alpha = "\"1:1,2:4,3:6,4:13,5:19,6:20,7:24,8:28\"";
var result = alpha.substring(1, alpha.length-1);
console.log(result);
