regular expresion validator

I use Regular Exp as follw for Date dd/mm/yyyy format,but it take the invalid date as 29/02/2015,

31/02/2016 or 31/04/2015 like that..please give me correct expression for valid date

ErrorMessage="Please Enter date in dd/mm/yyyy format." ForeColor="Red" ControlToValidate="txtCardIssueDate"
ValidationGroup="Validategroup"
ValidationExpression="(0[1-9]|[12][0-9]|3[01])/(0[1-9]|1[012])/\d{4}">

I make one console application validate your requirement. please change validation Expression..

string sk=DateTime.Now.ToString("dd/MM/yyyy");
if (Regex.IsMatch(sk, "(((0|1)[1-9]|2[1-9]|3[0-1])\\/(0[1-9]|1[0-2])\\/((19|20)\\d\\d))$"))
{
// Valid this regular expression according your requirments.
}

Hi Vidya,
You are using Regular Exp as follow for Date dd/mm/yyyy format, So it is not invalid data as
29/02/2015,31/02/2016 or 31/04/2015.
but if you want to use Regular Exp as follow for Date dd/mm/yyyy format then below is the code for same.

ErrorMessage="Please Enter date in dd/mm/yyyy format." ForeColor="Red" ControlToValidate="txtCardIssueDate"
ValidationGroup="Validategroup"
VValidationExpression="(((0|1)[1-9]|2[1-9]|3[0-1])\/(0[1-9]|1[0-2])\/((19|20)\d\d))$">
