referencing the dll

Hi,

I am trying to add a dll to my project . Its throwing an error message ".dll could not be added". check the details .

Check whether the permission for the folder should not be Read only. Check whether the dll available in the particular folder , try to check the .net framework for a project by right clicking on the project.

as my knowledge if you are usinf 4.0 framework you will not be able to make web service by vs

try to add web service using 3.5 framework

Hi,

thanks for ur reply. That dll has been referenced. but the CLSID ID error its showing. like clsid of a class is not registered. can it be registered manually to registary folder HKEY_CLASS_ROOT, CLSID. but I tried it out . its still displaying the same error.

Hi,
