Reduce Loading Time in Gridview ?

Hai Friends,

I have one prob in gridview. It will Slowly Binding datas from database and i have more then 3000 records for particular Gird. And i'm using Radgridview[Telerik Controls] using Filter control options in header part. Is it any other better option to load gridview data much more fast. Please suggest me how the records bind Quick in manner just 3-5 seconds. Is it possible ?
Please Help me with Good Techniques. It's will really help me in future.

Thanks for your reply. But i need concepts like Linq, Cache and thread. i heard these concepts are help to get data fast then compared to other things. I have already seen your link.

Try below common things to improve performance:
Check how much time is taking to execute your SQL query.
Implement database side paging to improve the performance
check if table indexing is done correctly
disabled the viewstate if it is possible
