Redirect page without deleting previous data

Yes it is also possible in MVC

Just consider you have a controller. Which is having HttpGet and HTTPPost Action Result.

Now on Action HTTPGet method

[HttpGet]

public ActionResult Page1()

{

if(session["Name"]!=null)

{

ViewDate["Name"]=session["Name"].Tostring();

}

return View();

}

and on HTTPPost

[httpPost]

public ActionResult Page1(string Name)

{

session["Name"]= Name;

}

Way 1:

You can do one thing just store the precious date in the session and then redirect. On previous page load always check for session value in u get session then fill control by session value other wise show it blank. On submition of data just kill the session.

eg:

Page1

Page_load{

if(session["Name"]!=null)

{

txtName.Text=session["Name"].Tostring();

}

}

On next button click just assign the control value in the session.like

button_click

{

session["Name"]= txtName.Text;

}
