Query issue join and group By

Try this code without join and group by:

for this type of query

from o in db.OrdersDB

join p in db.ProductsDB on o.OrderId equals p.ProductOrderId

group by ....

retrun equal row you want order based product count better use lambda expression

i saw alot of examples, using join

like :

from o in db.OrdersDB

join p in db.ProductsDB on o.OrderId equals p.ProductOrderId

group by ....

is this a good solution as well????

if yes, what should i use for performance issue?

You have foreign key relationship between two table use this type code

var result= db.OrderBOs.select(s=>new {

OrderId=s.OrderId,

TotalProject=s.ProductBOs.Count()

}).ToList();

else you dont have relationship

var result= db.OrderBOs.select(s=>new {

OrderId=s.OrderId,

TotalProject=db.ProductBOs.Where(w=>w.ProductOrderId==s.OrderUd).Count()

}).ToList();
