You should click in the text editor form to set focus to it. Then you should be able to type in it. I think it is relatively common for the status to say Loading for a long time, at least a few minutes. After typing, click Post. I hope it works for you because if not then you probably can't use these forums. If you can't get it to work on your computer, try using someone else's. Also, sometimes Firefox works when IE does not. When I report a problem such as yours to the management of this web site, they often just say that it works for them. Sometimes they fix problems but sometimes they do not.
