printer status check using script

Hi,
in client side computer using script how to check printer stop or ready when printer stop then notification alert me.it's possible ?

Its Cant be done using Simple java Script becuase if it can be done with javascript there will be huge risk over user of webpage.

you have to use Active X Control.that require permission from user to run it .like antivirus companies do online scan of our files from websites .

you can also use vbscript to check status of printer

try below code.
