pointing a location in map

Can you guys provide me the solution how to achieve functionality in java script, once we select that location it should show a dot and name.

Example: In an image once user select location Calcutta it should show us red dot and say Calcutta .How to acheive this using javascript .Thanks

Hi Sai,

I don't know what procedure you follow is. I want know these location permanently marks or temporary marked. If you need the mark permanently save the location in database with name.
