Parse a file

I am trying to parse a file in folder in the directory and use the information in the file name to populate the dataset, so I need to create these objects in the file: ------- Create a document group row: Group Name, Begin Date, End Date ----- I hope this is clear

I don't understand the question, can you give some more information, maybe on what a document group row and the other items are.
