If you want fourth character as 'P' then try this regex:
[a-zA-Z]{3}[p-P]{1}[a-zA-Z]{1}[0-9]{4}[a-zA-Z]{1}$");
You haven't specified in your question that you need fourth charachter as P, how one would get to know?
Try to specify all details that what you need when you ask a question and if possible then share your code also.

Hi,
If you want server side PAN number validation then you can simply use this:
System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex regex = new System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex("^[a-zA-Z]{5}[0-9]{4}[a-zA-Z]{1}$");
//If you want both upper case and lower case alphabets.
Match match = regex.Match(TextBox1.Text);
if (match.Success)
{
Response.Write("Success..!!");
}
else
{
Response.Write("Not matched..!!");
}

Try This Code.
1. Use the following
System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex regex = new System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex("^[a-zA-Z]{5}[0-9]{4}[a-zA-Z]{1}$");
Match match = regex.Match(TextBox1.Text);
if (match.Success)
{
Response.Write("Success..!!");
}
else
{
Response.Write("Not matched..!!");
}

2. Use MaxLength property to accept only 10 characters.
