i did it using another way and with a treewiew. thanks for the reply

Application objOutlook = new Outlook.ApplicationClass(); objNS = objOutlook.get_Session(); foreach(Outlook.MAPIFolder folder in objNS.Folders) { // fill in combo box... } You can also use the objNS.GetDefaultFolder method to retrieve any of the default folders (inbox, outbox, deleted, etc.)
