order1 is my database table name and qur is a query from date to date

What is order1 in you code. Make sure it's not null before accessing order1.sdate

i think error will be on this statement.

comment this code CrystalReportViewer1.SelectionFormula = qur;

and then try.

what I do after this code CrystalReportViewer1.RefreshReport(); cryRpt.Load(Server.MapPath("~/Report/BillR.rpt")); cryRpt.SetDatabaseLogon("root", "admin", "localhost", "restaurent_web"); qur = "{order1.sdate} >=date('" + datefrom + "') And {order1.sdate}<= date('" + dateto + "')"; CrystalReportViewer1.SelectionFormula = qur; CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = cryRpt; CrystalReportViewer1.DataBind();

As manish said, there must be some null values. Debug your code and check values.

Yes ReportDocument cryRpt = new ReportDocument(); string qur = "";

Hi Zaid,

First it is necessary to know when object reference error generate.

Suppose you have one object for example dataSet and you access table like that dataSet.Tables[0]
and your object dataSet is null, in that case you will get the error Object Reference not set to an instance of an object.

I think you got my point. Debug you code and check where you are accessing the null object.
