@Eric,

When you are using inline query then no need to use of below line.

st.Parameters.AddWithValue("@SampleID", value);

you can simple achieve the result by changing the query like below.

.... WHERE SampleID=" + SampleList, con))

@Vivek Thanks for your reply I did that and I can get the right data displaying in SQL server by passing the sampleID value

First Excute your query in sql server and check whether you are getting any data or not?

I just debugged my code I don't understand why st.ExecuteReader() is null when st.Parameters.AddWithValue("@SampleID", value) is equal to the value of SampleList

Any suggestion Please

Check Null value is passing or not. This Exception occures because of empty value passing to variable.
