New Sql Server 2008 Express - Server Name

Good morning all. I bought a new laptop and am going through the process of getting my software re-installed. I have downloaded and installed Sql Server 2008 express (with tools). I am now trying to conncet but do not have, nor do not know how to find the "Server Name". How can I find it?

Hi,
I can provide below informations.
1. Make sure you installed "Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 Management Studio Express". It's a free tool from Microsoft for configuring sql express.
2. Normally sql express is installing with "Windows" authentication and server name would be < machinename>>\SQLEXPRESS. For e.g. my instance is "JMATHEWS4-1\SQLEXPRESS". "JMATHEWS4-1" is my machine name

Thanks Jaish. Putting my machine name in with /sqlexpress took care of it.
