New C# Corner Logo

Mahesh Chand

We are looking for a new C# Corner logo.

If your logo is selected, it will enter in a pool. The Winner will be decided by the members and judges and a BIG pride.

Here are the rules:

It must be flat (metro style possibly)
Must use blue and orange color, similar to the above logos.
Post all samples here.
Judges will have all right reserved.

I am with you on that Sam. Here is a little history behind "the corner". Initially, C# was a part of the original website mindcracker.com that was a community (article sharing) website for C++ and MFC at that time (year 2000). When C# came in 2000, I created a C# section and called it C# Corner (on Mindcracker). But C# articles became more and more popular, I decided to create a separate website. Now with over 2.0 million monthly users, C# Corner is not really a corner. It has become a community :)

Here is a good logo created by John. I like this logo and represents the community aspect while keeping the "metro" theme. Plain and simple.

I will give this much away. I think the logo should indicate "corner". I assume the implication of the name C# Corner is that it is like a street corner where people gather and talk. If so then the logo should communicated that somehow. If someone else uses that idea then I am happy to just get credit for helping with the idea.

It was not clear to me what you meant by Logo. I know what Logo means but the examples confused me about what you are asking for. What you are asking for is the graphics primarily, correct?

First three original logos are nothing but text with different fonts ;). Yes I agree. I like Krishna's idea about having a group/community collaborating together. But I am not sure about text and font colors. We are going all "Metro style" so everything needs to be flat.

Hey, this is the first time I have seen this. Also note that creativity takes time.

I vote for the third one in the original post; I think the first two are too plain. Of course my preference seems to be the opposite of Vulpes's; Vulpes prefer the first one for simplicity and I prefer the last one for complexity. I would prefer more style; more complexity.

Krishna Garad's suggestion is also good. It appears to be text used twice and shifted a little.

I don't know how long you can keep this open. I will think about it and look for inspiration but I probably cannot develop anything quickly.

We are not getting more reply I think so cause of the prize everybody is hesitating to post their ideas. We should have to remove this prize because you can see this post having more than 150 views but reply is only one. So better is declare the logo without prize we may got better logo from other members.

I can't open .rar file. I think you should be able to upload an image. Try to write some text and then upload an image. All users needs to see it :)
