Need Suggestion before joining a company

Hello to all members as well as mentors,

I need a suggestion before joining a company. Currently I am working in an MVC as Senior Software Engineer. I am selected in another big company with the Role as Business Process Representative (they have mentioned that its a mixed kind of Development, Testing as well as Support kind of role). As I have never heard about this position, Is it okay to join that company with the mentioned Position. Does it will impact my career in the IT Industry. I have around 5 years of experience in IT Development as .Net Developer. Please suggest as I am confused whether I should join or not.

We do appreciate that you're looking for advice regarding your situation.

I firmly believe that you should know what you want. Because it boils down to what you love to do.

Moreover, if you see yourself doing this job then grab the opportunity and you might become a manager.

Otherwise, if you see yourself as a technical person. Thus, you can move towards the software-architect career.

Money is not everything in life, the real meaning of life is freedom , and freedom can only be achieved by doing what you are in love with, obviously you love coding , the real development neither Business process nor Testing.
But if your long term goal is to be an entrepreneur , then challenging yourself with other positions will be a right choice.

It is better to join relative like development. They say its all type of work as you mention Development, Testing and Support. I am sure you will get support more. slowly you will loose development skills what you have now. Even i got same but i deny. I am interested in Development. This is all i can say now up to you. what you choose.
