Two ways:

1.If the TextBox is located at the form itself then you can simply access it through its ID (Just like what other members has suggested). So if you have a textbox with an ID of "TextBox1" then you can get the value using "TextBox1.Text".

 

2. If the textbox is located within a Data-Bound control like GridView, Repeater, FormView, DataList, etc.. then you need to use FindControl method to access the control.

Hello @Dinkal if your are using textbox of asp.net server  control then it is ok   otherwise if you ae using simple html textbox then you should add runat="server" attribute and a id="txtbox1" to the html txtbox  .  Now you can call this textbox at aspx.cs page using id of textbox..

 

 at aspx page

  //asp.net server textbox
  //  simple html textbox

 

 

now at aspx.cs page 

 

TextBox1.Text = "Rgret";
pankaj.Value = "pankaj";

In btnsave_Click event, call the textbox control like below

 

 string name= txtname.text;
