My Notice period

Hello Senior and friend

My current job Notice Period is 60 days and Now i want to switch job .so i want to know that if i selected any company then company will allow me 60 days Notice Period.i thinking it is so long .Or tell me it is normal in Indian IT company .

What should i do this situation .

Hi,

Kindly serve the notice for at-least 30days and remain pay to company, This is basic only not gross salary.

I have also switched and I got this information just by giving certain interviews and the final HR discussions

Hi Suryansh,

It seems like it is your first switch.
The company that you would opt for would also be having a Notice Period of their own(for their currently working employees) and i.e. companies do respect the notice period of other companies as well.

The main question that would be asked by you would be the duration of the notice period and if it is negotiable. You just answer it honestly without thinking that it can alter the decision of the other party.

Please make sure, the new company will give you in writing that they are accepting joining period after 60 days.In between negotiate with current manager to reduce days.Never create bad impression with current employer, ever.

Now it would be easy for you to convey the same to the other companies.
I would again say that don't worry, having 2 months notice period is never a bad thing.
If a company wants to early really bad, they can always purchase your notice period( Provided your current organisation have such a feasibility)

Hi Suryansh Singh,

Its up to you how to convince the Interviewer to full fill the 60 days notice period. If they still they want you to join at earliest go for Buy Out option by paying salary for the remaining days.
