Hi Friends,

In my MVC5 application the button click event not fired in chrome browser(Version 44.0.2403.157) only but its working fine in IE9.

please share the script that support all versions of the browser

Hi Anand,

There is no Issue with Script( scripts will not depend on browser), it might be issue with browsers,

In Chrome
if Java script is blocked in chrome , enable it

Steps:
On the web browser menu click on the "Customize and control Google Chrome" and select "Settings".
In the "Settings" section click on the "Show advanced settings..."
Under the the "Privacy" click on the "Content settings...".
When the dialog window opens, look for the "JavaScript" section and select "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)".
Click on the "OK" button to close it.
Close the "Settings" tab.
Click on the "Reload this page" button of the web browser to refresh the page.
In Chrome
Enable the NPAPI plugin

Step 1: Open a new tab in Google chrome, Enter “chrome://flags/#enable-npapi “ and Enter
Step 2: Enable NPAPI (ctrl+F & type NPAPI)
Step 3: Click on Relaunch Now Button

U Can also using html helper class (in View)

Html.TextBox( "text", "submit", new { type="submit" } )

Html.TextBox( "text", "Reset", new { type="Reset" } )
