I hope Microsoft fixes any bugs in the Skype code and does a better job of making the software more reliable.

Yes. I think lot of small businesses use Skype and it will give MS access to those users.

Well, they've certainly paid enough for it but, strategically, it's probably a good buy for MS :)

Skype already a great tool, lots of people using across the world..

All the good functionalities of Skype benefits Microsoft.

Microsoft has bought Skype for $8.5 billion, in an all-cash deal. The deal closed a few hours ago.
